How it Works

Double Up adds an additional stream of revenue for Arizona farmers to sell their produce to local customers.

The Double Up program helps Arizona growers sell more fresh produce and stretches the food budgets of Arizona families. We reimburse growers 100% for the market value of their crop sold in exchange for Double Up.

Growers can work with farmers market and grocery store managers to participate, or they can contract directly with Pinnacle Prevention to offer Double Up at farm stands and CSAs.

Grower FAQ

Can I accept SNAP at my farm stand and CSA?

Yes! You will need to apply with USDA FNS to accept SNAP benefits outside of an approved farmers market location. We can help – please get in touch.

How do I redeem tokens?

If you are selling as a vendor at a pre-approved Double Up market location, ask the market manager for a vendor contract. You will need to read the program rules and sign annually to accept silver tokens at your booth. The market manager will also explain the redemption and reimbursement process.

Please do NOT accept benefits before you have signed a contract and/or at non-authorized Double Up locations.

Is Double Up the same as the coupon program?

No, although some markets offer multiple food assistance programs, Double Up and SNAP are separate from the AZFMNP coupon program. More details about AZFMNP including mobile redemption info can be found right here:
