Farmers market season is in full swing! Arizona’s local markets are expanding and adding new times and activities every day. Soon, the winter markets will be ending and the summer market season will begin. Check out these updates to make the most of your Double Up Food Bucks:

New Hours:
Uptown Farmers Market off of Central and Bethany Home in Phoenix has new extended hours until May. They are open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays. This gives you plenty of time to take advantage of their weekly activities and Double Up on your favorite in-season produce.

Sunnyside Farmers Market will open during the summer. You can pick up your fresh produce on Wednesdays from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. beginning May 29. It’s a great way to beat the heat and still pick up fresh food for the week!

Nogales “Little” Mercado is up and running again on Fridays! The market runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. until the end of April, and then from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. beginning in May.

Market Closures, Openings and More:
Over the next few months, some Arizona markets will be changing their hours or closing for the season.
